Website Design > Our Website Design Pricing Structure
Each and every website we design is priced according to its projected content. We will discuss your needs and preferences then give you a price for the entire package up-front. Once our bid is accepted, we require half of the total price to begin work with the balance due and payable when the new website is uploaded to your server space. We will tell you how soon we will have the work completed and, should you be submitting content to us such as copy and/or graphics, we will let you know when those are needed to avoid delaying the design process and get your new website up and running as soon as possible. Our 'average' websites run between $550 and $1,200 depending mainly on the number of pages and navigational structure required to make the site easy to use for your visitors.
Websites that will contain elements such as Flash or which require special programming such as .asp, shopping carts or JavaScript will incur higher pricing than those sites which are mainly text and static graphics. This is due to the necessary time to do special programming as many special elements can be extremely time consuming on the front end. We include simple animations, mouse-overs, external hyperlinks and mail forms at no additional charge.
Once the programming is done, simple changes and updates are billed at our hourly rate of $45.00 per hour for clients whose sites we have designed. For those needing additions or updates to websites designed by another firm, our per hour rate is $55.00. In both cases, we will give you firm quote before beginning work.
While we generally work off the 'hand shake' method of doing business, we realize that sometimes people prefer to have a written contract in-hand that spells out exactly what work is to be performed for what price.
